What is the forum?
The forum is a discussion group, where participants with common responsibilities and interests can talk about issues of significance to them.
We are offering you the chance to become a member of a forum for Managing Directors, Human Resource Managers, Personnel Managers, where you can share information, knowledge and experiences on potentially difficult areas and network with your colleagues.
|
Why might you want to attend the forum?
|
Why might an organisation want its managers to attend such a forum? This forum is an opportunity for managers to network with peers and learn from each other's experiences. It can diminsh away the sense of isolation your Human Resource Manager may feel and can widen their experience and knowledge on different issues. |
We will facilitate four meetings a year, which will include lunch and an afternoon discussing issues identified as relevant by the participants.
The first meeting of 2007 will be held in York on 16 March and will cover issues dealing with Absenteeism. The fee for this meeting will be £75 and includes lunch.
Meeting One
Absenteeism
This forum will be exploring both practical and informative solutions to common absence issues. The main focus will be on providing an environment where people in similar positions with the same problems can share information, knowledge and experiences as well an opportunity to
network with your colleagues.
