Information for individuals

All of our services are open to individuals and we will be happy to discuss your specific needs.

Whether you choose to approach us independently or through your organisation, it is you we will form a relationship with.

Why might you want to access support such as counselling, coaching, mediation or conflict resolution?

Our support services are about making the time and opportunity for a client (you) to talk about issues in a confidential way to an objective person in a non-judgemental environment. You will be invited to explore which professional may help you best. They will work in a way as to understand your situation and appreciate the things that trouble you. It may feel appropriate to consider an issue from a new perspective or it may be the first time you have talked about something.

People ask for support to explore things like:

  • relationship or family problems;
  • bereavement;
  • anxiety or depression;
  • worrying behaviour such as self-harming, drinking too much;
  • fear of failure;
  • work problems of any kind.

We will listen carefully and respectfully, supporting you. It may help you gain an increasing awareness of yourself and your choice of possibilities.

If you access our services on a private basis rather than through your organisation:

  • you pay;
  • you decide how many sessions you would like.

If you come via your organisation:

  • they pay;
  • they may limit the number of sessions;
  • they may get some information on general themes that relate to the workplace only. They will not be given any information specific to you without your express consent.
